FACTS:
Ryan was one of the original members of the band, helping to start it with childhood pal and bandmate Spencer Smith.
Ryan is the second oldest member of the band, the oldest being bassist Jon Walker.
He wrote the songs 'Camisado' and 'Nails For Breakfast, Tacks For Snacks' about his alcoholic father, who died in 2006.
Went to college for a full semester before dropping out to focus on the band.
He was the only lyricist on the band's first album.
Ryan is the one who came up with the name Pretty.Odd, though it was just something completely random.
He, along with Jon and Spencer, got to keep his costume from the video 'I Write Sins Not Tragedies', while Brandon did not.
The first concert he ever went to was a Backstreet Boys concert back when he was 9 years old.
